About Us
The dream to bring hope and healing to Uganda began years before our first free medical mission in the summer of 2022. It was birthed in the heart and soul of our founder and director, Rebecca Hunter. After God miraculously took her to America for four years of college and university study, Rebecca, returned to Uganda and enrolled as a medical student at Kampala International University.

What Our Volunteers Say
I have known Rebecca Hunter as a young energetic lady who loves Jesus Christ. I had the opportunity to serve with her on a Medical Mission in Western Uganda in 2022, organized purely by herself with the help of her fellow medical students. I was overwhelmed by her passion and love for the poor communities of Uganda who have no access to good health care. She is fashioned very well for medical mission and I am confident the Lord will use her mightily in her dream of being a missionary doctor. God bless everyone who helps her do her heart.
Dr. Daniel Muwanguzi, a practicing medical doctor working and residing in Jinja, Uganda, East Africa
The 2022 Medical Mission organized by Rebecca was the best medical mission I have been a part of. The doctors and medical students we work with were not only phenomenal individuals but fully understood and embraced the vision to share the hope and love of Jesus by providing medical care to those in outlying villages. All the members pulled together, worked hard, and shared in the blessings of being able to help certain patients God brought to us on specific days of the mission. It was a joy to be a part of the team.

Rebecca first made an impact on my life when she came alongside me in medical school before graduation and helped me work through some serious challenges. This passion she has for people touched me personally as well as those who she connects with, empowers, and mentors. I have enjoyed the privilege of working with and for Rebecca as a volunteer with SOZO through various opportunities including the 2022 Medical Mission. This organization has given HOPE to people and I couldn’t be more blessed to be a part of it.
