Who We Are

Our network of people with medical resources” with “SOZO Dream Foundation is a team of medical personnel and volunteers who possess a passion to remove these barriers. People die needlessly due to poverty. Others die because they lack access to medical care. And others die because they lack the finances required to take advantage of the medical care that is available.

We are a network of committed followers of Jesus Christ who have witnessed the severe medical needs of the people of Uganda. People die needlessly because of poverty. Others die needlessly due to the accessibility of medical care. Our network of people with medical resources. With these resources, we bring hope and healing to these people with free and/or affordable medical care.

SOZO founder and leader, Rebecca Hunter, was first exposed to the lack of medical resources as a very tiny village girl in the Masaka District of Uganda. Left an orphan as a result of AIDS killing both mother and father, Rebecca believed as a small child that “doctors don’t die” because they save lives and bring healing.

Through miraculous circumstances, Rebecca met Jesus as a 19-year-old runaway in the capital city of Kampala. She was discovered by Paul D. Hunter, Founder and Executive Director of Next Generation Ministries, the parent organization under which SOZO Dream Foundation operates.
